Val and Matt – Costa Rican Wedding

Matt and I wanted an elegant wedding filled with silver and teal tones, candles, and ivory flowers with vibrant greens. We had a traditional catholic ceremony at a church in Escazu (a city in San Jose), followed by a reception at the Real InterContinental Hotel. It was great to pick and choose from the American and Costa Rican wedding traditions, to make it our own, and it was everything we wanted to be, including dancing until 4:oo AM. You can find all of  our wedding vendors here.

Last week, I started looking at wedding website designs for my sister which inspired me to share these 9 tips. Continue Reading…

8 Wedding Dress Shopping Tips

1. Narrow it down, at least a little bit. Use resources like wedding magazines, wedding websites (e.g. TheKnot.com), bridal gown designers’ websites, local bridal stores websites, etc., to see the different options out there, understand the wedding dress lingo, and get an idea of what you like and don’t like.
