Pinterest Project: DIY Fall Wreath

Last weekend I finally got to hang our first wreath on our door! I’ve always wanted to make one, but honestly, it seemed like a lot of work until I gave myself the freedom to not stick to the “pin”. One of the most enjoyable parts of this process was to get inspiration and motivation from Pinterest while still making it my own.

Start by browsing around. Pin ideas and get that motivation and inspiration that triggers your creativity.

Once you have an idea of what you want to make, drive to Michaels and shop around for goodies. They might not have everything you pinned, but this is when you get the chance to put your personal touch. (Note: I had a low temperature glue gun which was not working for me, so I had to buy a high temperature one.)

I gave the “B” 2 coats of spray paint.

I had to use both the glue gun and crazy glue because of the weight of some of the decorations. Let it dry fully, hang, and you are done!
